Ces leds sont similaires \u00e0 ce qu&#8217;Adafruit appelle les NeoPixels. En pratique, il s&#8217;agit de LED RGB, donc capable de produire toutes les couleurs que vous souhaitez utiliser, et adressables, c&#8217;est \u00e0 dire qu&#8217;on peut contr\u00f4ler chaque LED individuellement. Ces LED sont chain\u00e9es, ce qui fait qu&#8217;on utilise un seul GPIO pour contr\u00f4ler l&#8217;ensemble, et on peut placer plusieurs ensembles les uns \u00e0 la suite des autres. On a g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement 3 c\u00e2bles : l&#8217;alimentation 5V, la masse, et le c\u00e2ble de signal. Que valent ces exemplaires achet\u00e9s sur Aliexpress? C&#8217;est ce que je vous propose de d\u00e9couvrir aujourd&#8217;hui, avec deux mod\u00e8les :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>une <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aliexpress.com\/item\/5pcs-lot-WS2812-5050-RGB-LED-Module-for-Arduino-Total-40pcs-LED\/32314134719.html\">barrette rigide de 8 LED\u00a0WS2812<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>une <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aliexpress.com\/item\/1m-5m-WS2812B-Smart-led-pixel-strip-Black-White-PCB-30-60-144-leds-m-WS2812\/32367479484.html\">bande souple de LED WS2812B \u00e0 30led\/m<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Barette de WS2812 chinoises<\/h2>\n<p>Cette barrette comporte 8 LED adressables, sur une plaque rigide de circuit imprim\u00e9. Elle mesure 54x10mm, avec une \u00e9paisseur maximale de 3.2mm. Une autre indique GND, et sera connect\u00e9e \u00e0 la masse du circuit, \u00a0et enfin la derni\u00e8re indique 4-7VDC, et sera connect\u00e9e au 5V du Arduino. \u00a0Attention toutefois, ces LED peuvent consommer pas mal, et il serait pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de les connecter \u00e0 une alimentation externe (en connectant bien la masse de celle ci \u00e0 celle du Arduino).<\/p>\n<p>Pour essayer la barette, j&#8217;ai ensuite utilis\u00e9 la <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/adafruit\/Adafruit_NeoPixel\">biblioth\u00e8que Adafruit Neopixel<\/a>, qu&#8217;il est possible d&#8217;installer en cliquant sur <em><strong>Croquis\/Include Libraries\/Manage Libraries<\/strong><\/em>, puis en cherchant ce terme dans le menu, avant de l&#8217;installer. Une autre solution est de suivre le lien ci \u00a0et de cliquer sur\u00a0<em><strong>Croquis\/Include Libraries\/ADD .ZIP Library<\/strong><\/em> avant de s\u00e9lectionner l&#8217;archive t\u00e9l\u00e9charg\u00e9e pour l&#8217;installation.<\/p>\n<p>Il suffit alors de cliquer sur Fichier\/Exemples\/Adafruit Neopixel\/strandtest, puis de d\u00e9finir la broche ou l&#8217;on a branch\u00e9 les LED (<strong>#define PIN 6<\/strong> , a renseigner pour la broche choisie), et la longueur de la bande de LED :<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: cpp; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">Adafruit_NeoPixel strip = Adafruit_NeoPixel(8, PIN, NEO_GRB + NEO_KHZ800);<\/pre>\n<p>On peut alors compiler et t\u00e9l\u00e9verser. Rien \u00e0 redire ici.<\/p>\n<p>La vid\u00e9o ci dessous vous donnera une id\u00e9e du r\u00e9sultat. Il ne s&#8217;agit pas exactement du m\u00eame mod\u00e8le que la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, mais nous allons toutefois essayer le la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re. Pour ma part, il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une bande de 1m, \u00e0 fond blanc, comprenant 30 LED. Pour utiliser toute la bande, il faudra imp\u00e9rativement\u00a0une alimentation externe. N&#8217;h\u00e9sitez pas \u00e0 suivre <a href=\"http:\/\/learn.adafruit.com\/adafruit-neopixel-uberguide\">les recommandations d&#8217;Adafruit accessibles en suivant ce lien<\/a>. Dans mon cas, j&#8217;ai simplement coup\u00e9 la bande apr\u00e8s 8 LED, de ce fait le code est exactement le m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p>La bande fait 10mm de large, et 0.4mm d&#8217;\u00e9paisseur. On peut l&#8217;acheter en format 1m comme en format 5m, avec un fond blanc ou noir. L&#8217;exemplaire souple me donne<strong> l&#8217;impression<\/strong> d&#8217;\u00eatre moins lumineux, mais je pense que cela vient du fait que la petite barrette offre une densit\u00e9 de LED consid\u00e9rablement sup\u00e9rieure (dans l&#8217;espace allou\u00e9 \u00e0 une LED sur la bande souple, il y en a 5 sur la barrette).<\/p>\n<p>Du coup la bande souple est moins \u00e9blouissante, et il est possible de la regarder directement, ce qui est difficile avec l&#8217;autre.<\/p>\n<p>Voici une vid\u00e9o du programme s&#8217;ex\u00e9cutant sur cette bande de LED :<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class='youtube-player' width='610' height='344' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/M7cHckot1IQ?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;autohide=2&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;'><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Conclusions<\/h2>\n<p>Ces deux produits sont de bonne qualit\u00e9, et fonctionnent de la m\u00eame fa\u00e7on que des produits plus chers. Le co\u00fbt est en effet ici tr\u00e8s bas, puisque j&#8217;ai eu 5 barrettes de 8 LED pour moins de 10\u20ac, et la bande de 1m pour moins de 5\u20ac, avec les frais de port gratuits dans les deux cas. Les deux marchands m&#8217;ont eu l&#8217;air tout \u00e0 fait s\u00e9rieux, rien de particulier \u00e0 redire. A mes yeux, ce sont donc de bons produits, que je vous recommande sans soucis.<\/p>\n<p>Avec ces produits, je vous recommande d&#8217;utiliser l&#8217;excellente biblioth\u00e8que Neopixel, d&#8217;Adafruit, sous licence libre qui plus est. N&#8217;h\u00e9sitez pas \u00e0 consulter le site d&#8217;Adafruit pour plus d&#8217;informations, et pourquoi pas acheter quelques produits chez eux! En effet, ils fabriquent d&#8217;autres sortes d&#8217;assemblages de LED de ce type que je n&#8217;ai pas encore vu ailleurs, font des produits de qualit\u00e9 excellente, et fournissent des guides et des biblioth\u00e8ques de grande qualit\u00e9, ainsi qu&#8217;un support tr\u00e8s performant.<\/p>\n<p>Je parle de ce marchand, qui n&#8217;a rien \u00e0 voir avec Aliexpress, car il me semble important d&#8217;acheter de temps en temps chez ces entreprises qui soutiennent l&#8217;open source, l&#8217;open hardware, et fournissent des guides et biblioth\u00e8ques qui profitent \u00e0 tous, m\u00eame \u00e0 des produits concurrents.
